Michael (Mukunda Chandra das) Kohan also works with many private and group clients at their home and work environments. His special private session begins with an enlightened 5-minute talk encouraging inspiring words of wisdom for living in today’s world. He then leads into a challenging and comprehensive asana practice tailored to the needs of the individual student (first time students are always encouraged!). Then he closes with a long savasana (sleep pose) where a nurturing hands-on approach to massage and aromatherapy is applied utilizing relaxing and revitalizing essential oils and lotions such as lavender, lemongrass, sweet orange oil and peppermint for the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation.
Private yoga instruction can be an excellent way to get balanced: body, mind and soul. A one on one session can really take your yoga to the next level!
Beginners: Yoga can seem like a foreign language at first. With personal instruction, the new student can learn all the fundamentals; poses, alignment & breathing in a comfortable environment, with a tailored class to suit one's needs.
Specific Goals: Have a hamstring issue? Want to acheive a specific pose? Want to train for a marathon using yoga techniques? Yoga is a multi-versatile skill that can enhance many athletic trainings as well as help heal and open areas of the body that have been closed off.
Power Work Out: Yoga can be a wonderful workout to train, strengthen and tone! Focusing on specific goals, the sequences are molded around getting fit and strong.
Therapeutic Yoga: Here we offer you tools to help you on your journey towards better health and wellness. Therapeutic Yoga is particularly effective practice for those recovering from or living with illness.
