How to Build Better Relationships

Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.  - Albert Einstein

Persons that are really joyful are those individuals who have sought and found ways to serve others through the guiding principles of adding value to the people they interact with in life.  Connecting to other people by adding value to their lives, is a positive technique to gain another person’s trust, and it’s one of the best ways to get others to have faith in you. The habit of adding value to others does not occur by accident, nor is it something that happens on its own. The best leaders add value intentionally by understanding what is important and making choices based on that knowledge.

The year you were born marks only your entry into the world. Other years where you prove your worth, they are the ones worth celebrating.― Jarod Kintz,

We have all benefited from the value of others at times when we could offer nothing in return. Adding value is not transactional exchange for services rendered at a later date.  Rather adding value to a person's life is a services rendered in exchange for happiness on this earth.  However, as a side bonus, when you develop a reputation as a person who is always positive, always tries to find a solution and always adds something to a situation, you’ll make friends and influence others. Part of being truly successful is learning to share the wealth and add value without asking for anything in trade.

Stop and think about who you are as a person and how you work with others in life.   Are you adding value or subtracting value?
